SUMMARY:2024 Fall Campin' & Stitchin' Cross Stitch Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Registration Open: \nCross Stitch/Punch Needle embroidery casual retreat. Our ‘stitching room” will be the beautiful Pride Center on location at the campground. Laid back\, casual retreat. Games\, door prizes\, optional smalls exchange (squirrels & acorn theme). \nMeals and lodging are not included. There will be an optional BBQ meal for $15 each on Wednesday night (BBQ\, baked beans\, coleslaw\, roll and cookie with water or tea) and optional dinner at a restaurant on Thursday evening. There is a cafe at the campground\, and restaurants nearby. Lots of lodging options at the campground for those that won’t be camping.\nSassy Jack’s Stitchery is a 35 minute drive from the campground.\n\nFor non-campers\, there are motels nearby.\n\nTell them you’re with the cross stitch retreat when you make your reservation. Ask about discounts for campsites. They are a Passport America campground\, and I think there may be a military discount.

DESCRIPTION:Registration Open:  All registrations must be faxed or emailed \nDesigner is Cathy from Hands On Designs. The main events will be Friday October 27 with an open house and registration at Dying to Stitch. Options for morning or afternoon session for the main class on Saturday. Plated lunch on Saturday at the country club between the morning and afternoon classes. Special guest Lois from Elegant Stitch / Lady Dot Creates will give a lecture during lunch. Pop up shop on Friday night. \nThere will be stitching rooms available at hotel – Hyatt Place Chesapeake Thursday\, Friday and Saturday nights.
